Instead
What the hell is wrong with me?
Why, when the sink is overflowing with dishes, do I re-organize the utensil drawer?
Why do I rearrange the husband's (already folded) shirts when there are piles of clothes EVERYWHERE and the clean laundry has been sitting in the laundry bag, unfolded for two weeks?
Why do I spend hours on the computer instead of running errands, making phone calls, and paying the bills?
Why can't I get organized?
Is it something you can learn, or is it a personality trait that you're stuck with?

When you get answers, let me know, OK? I can so identify with you. I do the very same things. I should have done anything today BUT wipe down the cabinets in the kitchen.
So what did I do? Yep.
I hope it's something I (and you) can learn. But I've been trying to change for probably 7 years now and ain't nuthin' workin'.

I just got on the computer "really quick" while I had breakfast. Yeah. That was over an hour ago. I should go do the dinner dishes from last night.

It's obvious that you're avoiding odious tasks and replacing them with more benign ones.
I call it intelligence in action.
(and so sweeeet that you got to ask Billy J such a complex question and get back such a complex answer)

You're stuck with it, baby. Just like you're stuck with me! Yahoo!

I agree, you are substituting things you can do easily instead of doing the stuff you'd rather not do.
I do it all the time. And Bucky Four Eyes is quite correct, it's a sign of superior intelligence. Obviously. :-)

Hhmmm, yep, don't know. When you find out though, can you let me know?
I promptly sat on the computer blogging last night while Mr K folded the mountain of clothes that had consumed our walk-in-robe.

It must have something to do with our shared birthday because damn it if you didn't just describe me.
(Oh yeah, I told Blogger to eat it. Come see my new site.)

I'm shocked to hear this! We Leo's are notoriously controlling and are always on top of things without even trying. Hmm. Must be that your rising sign is interfering. I hate when mine does. I should hold a class; I'm compulsively organized! :)

I am one of those annoying organized people. I truly think that is something you are just born with. For those that don't possess this gene, I think it is a constant battle. Plus I think the computer sucks time away like no other machine.

I used to do that. Lots. Then I delved into research about adult ADD.
I am far less distracted now and far less likely to put off tedious jobs or fritter away time on something I hadn't intended to do.
Ritalin rulez. Tom Cruise can suck it.

Nilbo, from what I hear, Tom Cruise DOES suck it.
