Really? REALLY, really?
I still can't believe I'm pregnant.
My fist OB appointment is on the 25th.
The doctor obviously doesn't understand what a crazy lady she is dealing with.
Having to wait is eating away at me.
I don't know if this will all truly sink in until I hear the doctor confirm that I am, actually, pregnant.
Wouldn't it be funny if after having all of these symptoms I went to the doctor and found out I wasn't pregnant?
Don't shake your head. I wouldn't put it past me.

Something that's hard to fake, but may not happen at all, is that your aereolas get darker. Go on, look at your boobs. Look at them! ;)
I highly recommend What to Expect When You're Expecting. Just don't read it all the way through; use it as a reference.

My mom's aereolas didn't get darker, so considering I'm her clone, Mine probably won't either.
And I've already read most of What to Expect.
I warned you that I'm insane.

Well, then obviously we are going to need to see your aereolas. Make use of that D70!
OK, I'm kidding.

Any wierd cravings yet?

Are you peeing every five seconds? Are you tired and/or crazy revved-up with energy? Are you peeing every five seconds? Are your boobies tender? Are you crying at Hallmark commercials? Are you peeing every five seconds?
Then you've officially been knocked up. Enjoy!

If you weren't prego the test would not have been positive. Even if it was negative you could still be pregnant but if the hormone was detected then you are. NO worries.
So my sister had her first sonogram and named the parasite "Peanut". That's pretty much what it looked like to me...once I found the sucker. Sonograms suck. Horrible pictures, I must say. I guess I was supposed to get excited, huh? I'm a great antidote to pregnancy excitement by the way, as I know you know full well, so if it gets to be too much excitement for ya, just call me! I can help! :)
Hugs and kisses! :)

You mean it could just be that you really want Chinese food?

I totally unrecommend "What to Expect..." it is the scariest book when you are pregnant! My midwife for my first baby said she could always tell when someone had read the book, they would call her terrified, with really crazy questions.

That's all, just

For the record: if your OB/GYN is one of those "fist OB's" you describe, I would go elsewhere. The best just use a couple of fingers.

Nilbo, maybe she WANTS a "fist OB", didja ever consider that? Maybe it's one o' those strange preganacy cravings, y'know?

Congratulations! Sorry for the belatedness of my well-wishes, but I'm so happy for you and Mr. Torrie.
Also, I have no pregnancy advice whatsoever. You can thank me later. :)

Hi Torrie, I stumbled onto your blog a few days ago and it rocks!
I found out I was up the duff the same day you did... it still hasn't really sunk in for me yet either (despite the peeing every 5 minutes, sore boobies, peeing every 5 minutes, sickliness, and peeing every 5 minutes). So congratulations to us both, eh.

You are more than likely preggers, because as someone else said, you don't usually get a false positive - false negative, yeah, but not false positive. I am SO excited for you! This is SO exciting, and I can't wait to see more pictures of your growing belly!!!

Congratulations! I'm 16 weeks pregnant with my first and can completely understand your joy and wanting to share it. I've had an ultrasound and heard the heartbeat, too, and am still in a state of denial about the whole thing. I don't think it will truly sink in until the belly pops out or I can actually feel a little something moving in there!!
