Actually, I don't have a ton of photographic evidence, but when I first tried to dye my hair brown last year it turned RED.
I would totally do red, but it's really hard to maintain.

I have a brunette preference, generally, and think light eyes with dark hair is sexy hot.
But, as said above, it's your hair, and if you go back to blonde and want to go back to dark, you can!

I was born with natural red highlights and light brown hair... so when I started going "white" I started coloring my hair.

I have had a few disasters trying to go red, and it is a pain to maintain. Now I'm alternate auburn and blonde and it works ok.

I say do what makes you happy. You look beautiful in both.

Too funny, I'm having the same issue and asking for similar advice (well not about going "back to blonde" because I never was one).

In any event, I think you look stunning as a brunette. Something about how your bright eyes compliment the dark hair and your flawless skin.

You honestly look gorgeous both ways, but my preference is the brunette pictures.

Fine if red is too much and blonde is too familiar, go for strawberry blonde. Easier to maintain and not hard to go lighter or darker with if you change your mind.

I'm in Aimee's boat. Same deal with my hair - went red for many years - got sick of the maintenance.
So now what I actually have is more of a brown base, with blond highlights mainly around my face. So I get the intensity of the dark hair and it doesn't fade in two days like red does, but I get the nice effects from well-placed foils concentrated on the front.

I wouldn't have even known that was you with the blonde hair! I love dark hair on you - makes your eyes *Pop!* So maybe do a partial foil, with not light blonde, but lighter than the rest of it.

Also - I like the style/length of your 'hair' in the blue wig. I think that fits your face shape really well. Could be the bangs - they look good on you - but I think the length also works to your advantage.

well then, in that case - getting your hair back to your lighter Natural state - that would be a lot of chemical treatments... I still vote for adding some warmth around your face to start, and see how you like that around your face, and then you can keep adding more each time until you get as much lightness/blonde that you like.
Hey - it's just hair. It grows, and it's fixable...
but it also Does affect how you feel about yourself on a day to day basis. Can I say Bad Hair Day??
And with all you've been thru lately, if you've got an itch to change it, I think you totally should. You can always come back to dark if you change your mind.

OK, initially I was like "Oh, blonde fo sho" but the darker hair makes your blue eyes like super duper BLUE.

I still like the blonde though. Go for blonde - lighten up for summer.

I maintain that you would not have asked this question if you felt comfortable as a brunette. I think you want to go back to being blonde. And I thin if you left it up to a coin, flipped it in the air, you would know that right away.

But...if you're thinking of moving to red, don't go too blonde or when you switch to red it could go pink. (I had it happen, and while it was edgy, it wasn't my fav.).

Personally I'm a fan of chunks. Chunky highlights/lowlights. It's the best of both worlds. You can look really light one day and change the part and wala you have brown around your face.

I say brunette. Because there are too many fake blondes in the world. Blondeness is really devalued to the point of mundanity now. Being an undercover blonde is like saying "f-you" to the whole one dimensional celebrity tv anchor/rockstar/pornactress thing.
But that's just my opinion.
