You are lucky you were given the extra 5 years. I woke up on our birthday in 1999... got dressed and went to work. It wasn't until 2pm that I realized I had on one black shoe and one navy one. It's been a stroke of genius ever since.

Or how about when you walk around looking for your sunglasses for 10 minutes, only to realize they are on top of your head? I've done that bit before.

I have walked around wondering where the hell my glasses were and they were on my face. I mean, seriously. I am blind without them, or my contacts, how the HELL could I not know I was wearing them?

Last night I beat on my front door crying because I couldn't get in. Then I went around to get my neighbors to help me open the door. Emma was barking, it was storming, I was hysterical...
The door was locked. I just needed to unlock it.

I will often start to put my sunglasses on when I already have my regular glasses on. The shades are prescription, too.
Don't know if it's especially age related, though. I've done that shit all my life.
