Food I have consumed in the last 48 hours that has not satisfied me
-A protein shake made with an organic banana, organic vanilla yogurt, organic rice milk, organic flax seed oil, and protein powder
-Two bowls of organic whole wheat cereal with rice milk
-Organic baked wheat and flaxseed crackers
-Two slices of organic American cheese
-Organic vegetable broth with organic veggie alphabet noodles
-Two organic apples
-Baked snap pea crisps
-An organic strawberry breakfast bar
-Organic cashews
-Brown rice pilaf with organic vegetable lentil soup on top
-Half a thin crust cheese pizza
-Several glasses of organic OJ
-Organic hot chocolate
Finally, I broke down last night and I had a Three Muketeer's bar. Believe it or not THAT is what the demon spawn wanted. I actually went to bed last night without feeling hungry.
Here I am trying to eat healthy, organic stuff, and the only thing that satisfied me was something with artificial flavors and colors. Go figure.

One of my best friends, who had been a vegetarian for years, craved chili dogs throughout her entire pregnancy. Everytime she ate one, she cried. :)
But what the baby wants, the baby gets!

I have had friends crave things they hate. The baby has its own agenda!

Oh Friends, Joey became vegetarian while Phoebe was pregnant and craving meat. Maybe you can get one of your friends to go organic for you, while you enjoy those candy bars!

Agreed, what a baby wants, baby gets.
My first two wanted pancakes all the time.
This one? Yeah, she was adverse to anything I ate. although recently it's been cinnamon. And I'm okay with that!
Anyway I am just giddy for you. Lots of prayers going your way!

I was going to say! The baby doesn't want all that good for you organic whole grain vitamin-filled stuff! It wants chocolate! Nachos! French fries!
Oh wait, maybe that's what *I* want.

Yep, my mostly vegetarian wife craved steak and hamburgers every time she was pregnant. And peanut butter, which she rarely eats otherwise.
Fetuses are weird. :-]

With Christopher, I craved McDonald's cheesburgers. Constantly. Couldn't get enough. With Sophie, I wanted mexican food. All the time.
I have a vegetarian friend who ate meat throughout her pregnancy because she craved it so much. As soon as she delivered, she lost the craving.

I don't see any mention of pickles with all that chocolate!
When my wife was pregnant she went through all kinds of weird cravings. She's not especially a fan of Chinese food, but she sure wanted it when she was pregnant. All that grease.
I started to wonder why I was gaining weight if she was the pregnant one.
Take care of yourself, and again, all the best.

Maybe you should change the title of your blog to "I Pretty Much ATE Everything." :-) I know that I haven't said anything about your news yet, but I'm awfully superstitious, so... I'll just say that I hope you are well!

I just saw over at RSM's site on your comment that you are PREGGERS! I hadn't been over here to visit in a while, and OMG TORRIE I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!! I have good vibes, and I know this pregnancy is gonna ROCK! I am so happy for you, girlie!!!

This is a bit OT, but I was wondering if you knew a really chocolatey cake recipe. I know you used to do that, and I've got to make a cake...

Holy shit on a stick!!!! I am out of the blog world for like a week and you go and knock yourself the fuck up.
Well, holy hell.
Congratulations!!!!!

I had no idea there was such a thing as organic hot chocolate. You learn something every day!
Keep us posted and take care of yourself. :)

Well, just be happy that you are actually hungry and don't feel like throwing up 24/7. I just got over the dreaded morning sickness phase and it was not fun. Good luck with this pregnancy! I hope you feel this good the whole nine months.

You should really try to have something organic. I hear it's very filling.
