Two Things
1) I'm leaving for Chicago on Thursday. The husband has a conference, so I'm tagging along.
If you've ever been to chicago I'd love some suggestions on places to go, things to see, and restaurants (keeping in mind that we are vegetarians).
2) We have our next sonogram this afternoon. Last time all of your good vibes seemed to work, so please send some more this way.

More positivity going your way- looking forward to reading good news!

I forgot I told you I'd give you recommendations. Two places I really like to go out to are Tavern on Rush and Luxe. If you run into Mafia George or Bobbie and Ralph (ALWAYS THERE ON THURSDAY NIGHTS) call me and give me the phone. These two places are right near each other - Rush Street is the happening hang out area. You should def. do the architectural boat ride if you have time. It's fabbo. For the trendier side, Japonais was really good food. It's obviously asian, so you should find stuff to eat. I also ate at some other places but they were meat-lovers paradises so I wouldn't recommend them to you... I'd barely recommend them to myself. A friend of mine emailed me about some more veg. recommendations, so keep an eye out for the forward. Have a blast. YOU LOOK MARVELOUS!!!

I've not made it to Chicago yet so am about as much use as a chocolate teapot on that one but I hope you both have a lovely time and am sending every good vibe I have for your sonogram. Walking with everything crossed is really hard but I'll do it for you! :)

Never been to Chicago either, but scout out stuff for Stanley, will ya? ;-)
And major good vibes still coming your way, for the sonogram and the whole pregnancy!

Vegetarians here tend to love The Heartland Cafe in Rogers Park or Chicago Diner in Boystown (on Halstead).
For the best deep dish pizza in town I recommend The Art Of Pizza, on Ashland Ave. It's a hole in the wall, but the pizza is out of this world.
Have fun!

Visit the coke ovens and tar refiners on the South Side and in Northwest Indiana. I mean, that's the stuff that made the Rust Belt rust. Dirty air means jobs, right?
Seriously, just window shopping on North Michigan Avenue is a lot of fun. The flagship Crate and Barrel store is quite a sight.
I hear Greektown is pretty good, too!

ahhh fooey! Had I come by sooner, I would have sworn by Duo's pizza - the vegetarian deep dish is to die for... maybe next time...
