Conversation with Heather:

"I tried taking Tylenol."
"Really? You did???"
"I know. That should tell you how bad it is"
"Did it help?"
"I took it Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and it did NOTHING."
"You know why they let pregnant woman take it? Because it doesn't do shit."
"EXACTLY. They should change the name from Tylenol to Placebo."

Double Strength Placeboes

So very true! When I was pregnant a had a terrible headache for one whole week “trying” Tylenol until I broke down and cut an Advil in half- Did I ever feel guilty- half an Advil!- for days I felt guilty about my ibuprofen meltdown. Now I think- Aren’t there addicts taking god knows what when pregnant?
It’s a shame that you have to deal with this pain everyday- it takes anything enjoyable out of an already hard experience. Maybe an extra strength Tylenol would be better- or maybe it would do extra nothing. ;-) Take Care

Carrie, It was extra strength. >:(
I unfortunately can't take Advil during my third trimester- it causes heart defects.
Tomorrow I'm trying acupuncture.

Hilarious. Tylenol stopped working for me years ago.
