Sleeping is for pussies
In honor of her two month birthday, Willa now has her own Twitter page.
In other news Willa had her two month checkup today. She got her first round of shots (I left the room- my husband stayed with her), and she weighs 12 lbs. and is 22 3/4 inches long.

Aw, I would have had to leave, too. Poor mama!

I'm sure little Willa took her shots like a champ! The doctors usually do it so quickly that the baby doesn't know what happened!

I wasn't able to go to Li'l Foot's 2 month appointment (long story - but the short version it was rescheduled and rescheduled and then wound up landing on the first day I had to go back to work from maternity leave), so hubbie took her. He made me promise never to make him go to the doctor by himself with her when shots were involved. Since then she's had 2 more visits (4 and 6 month) and she does better every time. Most recently this past Saturday in which she didn't even cry for the first shot, in fact she smiled. Hold out hope that it gets better!!! Willa is so adorable.

Oh I would leave the room too. I hate to hear baby's crying.
Makes me want to cry too.

Yay Willa! She's doing brilliantly and she's such a cutie. I look forward to hearing what she's up to on Twitter.

My mother is terrified of needles.
When I was three I needed to start getting allergy shots. When the doctor took out the needle my mother began to shake and he had her leave the room and my father console me because he was sure that her reaction would put me off subcutaneous medication for life.
I do hope you have no such issues.

I am new to your site (which I found through the Blogger Network). I am currently 32 weeks pregnant and CAN'T WAIT to be able to post photos and write about my baby too!
Willa is such a cute little sweet pea!!!

Oh, I hate the shots! My son's 7 years old, and I cried when I had to hold him for his booster a few weeks ago. I've always cried, every time. It's probably best that you left the room.
