Today
-I found out that my building has been throwing out all of our recyclables with the regular trash. This makes me furious. I promptly reported them.
-I got a botched bikini wax- uneven, ripped skin, wax left all over me- and then the salon had the nerve to try to charge me extra.
-I was breastfeeding Willa and I started laughing. Apparently Willa doesn't like when I laugh because she started to cry. She's so adorable when she cries- she has a perfect pout- that it made me laugh harder which made her cry more.
-I have a canker sore on my tongue.
-Dexter has another hot spot.
-I was clipping my nails so I don't stab myself or my child and a nail clipping flew into my eye.
-The Mets lost.
I'm going to bed before anything else goes wrong.
Update: After a night of virtually no sleep, this is how my morning started.

Wow, that recyclable problem really pisses me off. My condo complex doesn't even OFFER recycling and I have to stockpile my recyclables and bring them to the center myself. Being good to Mother Nature shouldn't be so hard.
And OUCH to the bikini wax!

For canker sore on the tongue...eat B-complex 1 capsule every day. also eat banana(atleast 1 every day). The sore will vanish in 2-3 days.
I know you have a doctor husband and you will be getting all medical advice already, but this is from my own personal experience.

i am so sorry about your dad. he sounds amazing - he discovered a pirate ship! how many people's dads have done that???
also, if i lived nearby, i'd totally babysit for free for you.

i just re-read all the posts under the "i want a baby" catgory.
knowing how the story ends didn't make any of it less sad, upsetting, worrisome.
but wow! you got a tiny, gorgeous new little person!
also: children's books is my specialty (literally; i'm getting a PhD in it and everything)!
