I have a lot of the same as you. I really like your "stop saying self-deprecating things in front of my daughter." So important. For that matter, stop saying them in front of you, too! Own that you're wonderful. Willa's going to want to be just like you.

-To learn how to use photo shop properly
-To spend less time on the computer

You know those two things are mutually exclusive, right? :-]

OH girl I got a long list just like you.

Wants
-To lose 30lbs.
-To eat healthier - Yep. But temptation is so hard to resist!
-To exercise more - This is good, considering I don't exercise at all.
-To stop saying self deprecating things in front of my daughter - My mom reminds me and I'm conscious to never talk about my weight in front of Sophie.
-To take my dog on a walk as often as possible, and not let house stuff get in the way of that
-To have more sex - that would be nice, considering i'm not having ANY
-To get more massages - My neck has been killing me for days.
-To be more organized
-To get rid of a lot of stuff - YES DECLUTTERING - My biggest problem.
-To have $$$ to go on vacation/travel.

- To get the job I'm applying for tomorrow (or, uh,ANY job).

- To get laid again sometime this year.

- To learn to spot crazy chicks and avoid dating them.

- To keep my pants on in front of the neighbors.

- To finish my CD before summer.

- Eat your baby
- Not miss you

I note "to kick Donald Rumsfeld in the nuts" is not on your list, but it so should have been!

My list:
- do more excercise
- cook more good food
- stop playing crappy flash games on the computer
- go sea kayaking more
- go see my Dr about stopping my meds so we can start trying for a sibling for P
- study
- get my etsy store up and running
- meditate
- tidy the house
- organise my sewing cupboard
- kick my handbag habit
- stop squeezing pimples (who would have thought you could still get acne once you were over 35)
- finish painting the house
- get new flooring for the laundry
- do more in the garden
- start playing the cello again
- join a choir

Great list!
And I'm VERY happy that
you've decided to keep the
blog rolling.

I always had to work when my kids were growing up
(and am still working), and
on my annual list was
spending more time with them. I'm glad you don't
have to put that on yours!
Good for you.

-get pregnant
-get organized
-talk to my family more often

and a few other things I'm sure, but its too early to think of them.

I'm so glad you decided not to quit.

What to do when your wants are conflicting?

1. To procrastinate less
2. To finish my thesis as soon as possible
3. To take my friend's advice on the guy
4. Learn to cook
5. Eat healthier
6. Run harder
7. Stop smoking one cigarette per day
8. Have good self-esteem
9. Shop less
10. Write better

I'd like to get rid of my biggest character flaw - trying to be everybody's mother.

-Move to be with husband
-Hair to grow back, but not too quickly.
-Lose 50 pounds
-Have enough money
-Take better pictures
-Be happier in general
