Just so you know, this made me smile and say "Yay!"out loud. So out loud I stirred Zoe from a nap. Greaat. :) I think about quitting about once a month and I never do.
I'm hoping you're not done. I wanted to hear more about what happened with your situation regarding your husbands fellowship. I'm pretty much in the same boat but I have two baby girls 14 months apart and my husband just started CT fellowship. He's NEVER home. Can you share some hope- should I look into getting a dog? I think the nights are the toughest being home alone in a house in the burbs. Every little noise freaks me out. It gets creepy!!
I just read your post breaking up is hard to do. And I was actually in the same boat as you. Lived on the upper west side for 5 years.... got married- got pregnant... got pregnant again and for all the same reasons we moved out of Manhatan as well. My husband is also a presently a fellow (as I mentioned before). Are you in Westchester County?
You have to put yourself first of course, and I hope you do whatever you need to do. But for what it's worth, you've written some beautiful and touching posts so don't sell your writing skills short!

Life is blog-fodder, and often blog fodder comes when you least expect it.
