DON'T GET RID OF IT. One of the problems with the iPhone is that it slips out of pockets and purses so quickly you don't even feel it go. Two of my friends LOST theirs. One got it back and promptly bought the leather case, which stops the slippage.

Please don't buy vinyl. It's just wrong on so many levels.

just a little leather huh? i can relate. like when people say to me about my daughter's allergy, 'it's just a little peanut butter - she'll just get a rash right?'. There are plenty of iphone cases that aren't leather.

Why can't you return it?

For some reason this reminds me of the time that I was a kid and I asked my father if our dog's nose was real leather and he said, "No, we can't afford real leather, it's plastic."

My mom always gets my kids balloons. And those balls that are stretchy and latex.

Me. With the life-threatening latex allergy. My favorite is when someone says, "Oh, it's not latex... it's all-natural rubber."

Mom.... I don't just wear this bracelet with the little red medic alert symbol for fun. And the epi-pen? It's a real one.

I think she's trying to kill me so she can have my kids.
